Terms of Use

The license

Thinkling: CogAT Test Prep (“Thinkling”, “the app”) is licensed to you, not sold. Your use of the app is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These terms explain how Thinkling works in plain language and add a few app-specific points. If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA applies.

Subscriptions

• Plans (US prices): weekly $7.99 with a 3-day free trial, monthly $19.99, yearly $69.99. Prices may vary by country; the price shown in the App Store before you confirm is the one that applies.
• Payment: payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase (or, for the weekly plan’s free trial, when the trial ends).
• Automatic renewal: subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Free trial: only the weekly plan includes a free trial, available to eligible new subscribers. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you won’t be charged.
• Managing and canceling: manage or cancel anytime in your device’s Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or from Thinkling’s grown-ups area › Settings › Manage subscription. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Family Sharing is supported, and up to 4 children can practice on one subscription.

Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple, and we do not have access to your payment information. To ask for a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund decisions are made by Apple under its policies.

What Thinkling is, and isn’t

Thinkling is an educational practice app. Its questions are original and written in the same formats as the CogAT^® subtests, with OLSAT^®-style and NNAT^®-style practice. They are not real test items.

• Thinkling is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Riverside Assessments, LLC, Pearson Education, Inc. or any school or district.
• The readiness estimate and practice test reports describe practice in the app. They are not CogAT scores or percentiles and do not predict test results.
• We do not promise any particular score, result, placement or admission to any program.

Using the app

• A parent or guardian should set up the app and manage purchases and settings. The grown-ups area is behind a parental gate.
• You may use Thinkling for your family’s personal, non-commercial use, as allowed by the Standard EULA.
• Please don’t copy, resell or redistribute the app, its questions, artwork, characters, voice recordings or other content, or try to reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows.

Your data

Your child’s profiles and practice history are stored on your device. Because there are no accounts, we can’t recover data if the app is deleted or a device is lost. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Content and availability

We work hard to make every question correct and every explanation clear. Still, the app is provided “as is”, as described in the Standard EULA. We may update, change or improve features over time. If you spot a problem, please tell us at contato@meagiliza.app.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Thinkling and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the app, as set out in the Standard EULA. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

CogAT^® is a registered trademark of Riverside Assessments, LLC. OLSAT^® and NNAT^® are trademarks, in the US and/or other countries, of Pearson Education, Inc. or its affiliate(s). These trademark holders are not affiliated with, and do not sponsor or endorse, Thinkling. Apple, iPhone, iPad and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Thinkling and its mascot are our own.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date below shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Thinkling after an update means you accept the updated terms.
