Who we are

This policy covers the Thinkling: CogAT Test Prep app for iPhone and iPad (bundle ID com.thinklingapp.app) and this website, www.thinklingapp.com. In this policy, “Thinkling”, “we” and “us” mean the developer of Thinkling. You can reach us at contato@meagiliza.app.

Information stored on your device

To work, the app stores the following on your iPhone or iPad:

• Child profiles: the first name or nickname you enter, an avatar, the grade on test day, the test and the test date you choose (up to 4 children).
• Practice history: answers, progress per question type, the daily plan, garden and stars, practice test results and reports.
• Settings: voice, sound, haptics and reminder preferences.

This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see it. Because there are no accounts, we have no copy of it on any server. If you back up your device (for example with iCloud Backup), the backup may include the app’s data; backups are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy and your device settings.

Information we collect

We don’t collect your or your child’s name, email, answers or progress. The only data that leaves your device is the subscription information described below: an anonymous app user ID and Apple’s purchase records (and, if you came from an Apple Ads ad, an attribution token). It is used only to provide and verify your subscription, to see our subscription numbers in total and to measure our own ad campaigns, never for behavioral advertising, profiling or tracking. Thinkling has no sign-up, no ads, no advertising identifiers, no tracking across apps or websites and no third-party analytics.

Purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). Apple processes your payment under its own privacy policy; we never receive your name, email address or payment details.

We use RevenueCat, a subscription management service, only to know whether a subscription is active. When the app is online, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID generated by the app and the purchase records Apple provides for that ID (such as the product, purchase and renewal dates and transaction identifiers). RevenueCat does not receive your child’s name, grade or practice history, or your name or email address. RevenueCat processes this data on our behalf; see RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

If you found Thinkling through an Apple Ads ad, Apple’s AdServices framework provides an attribution token that RevenueCat uses to tell us which ad campaign led to a subscription. Apple designed this token to work without tracking: it contains no advertising identifier and nothing about your child, and Thinkling never asks for permission to track you.

Notifications

Thinkling can show two kinds of optional local notifications: a daily practice reminder at a time you choose, and a reminder before a free trial ends. They are scheduled on your device by iOS, with your permission. We do not send push notifications from a server and never send marketing notifications. You can turn reminders off in the app’s Settings or in the iOS Settings app.

Children’s privacy

Thinkling is designed to be used by children with a parent or guardian setting it up. We do not collect personal information from children: the first name you enter for your child is stored only on your device and is used only to personalize the app (for example, in the grown-ups area and reports). The grown-ups area, which contains settings and reports, is behind a parental gate.

We don’t collect children’s names, answers or progress; the anonymous ID and token above are not linked to your child and are used only as described. We do not sell personal information of anyone, and we do not use any information for advertising. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example, by emailing us), contact us and we will delete it.

Deleting your data

• To delete one child’s data, open their profile in the grown-ups area and choose Remove.
• To delete everything, delete the app from your device. Device backups you have made are managed in your device or iCloud settings.
• Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to help you; ask us at any time to delete them.

Emails to support

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include (such as a screenshot). We use it only to reply and to fix problems, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

This website

www.thinklingapp.com uses no cookies, no ads and no third-party scripts or fonts. To see which pages are useful, it counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, stores no personal identifiers and does not follow you across websites; it only reports totals such as page views, referring sites, countries and device types. Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) also processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser type in server logs to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use any of this data to identify or track visitors.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information and to object to certain processing. Because we don’t hold personal information from the app, most requests will be answered by the steps above. Security

Data stays on your device and is protected by your device’s own security, such as your passcode and iOS data protection. Network connections to Apple and RevenueCat are encrypted.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Thinkling handles information, we will update this page and the date below.
